Just because something was reviewed well on yelp.com, doesn’t mean it’s always going to be awesome. The same goes for plastic surgery. “Beware the Uniboob”
Even if my best friend for life recommended someone, I‘d still do the additional research on the surgeon’s background. (This isn’t like a sushi recommendation!!) Dinora Rodriguez didn’t. Rodriguez found her doctor through a friend, and didn’t check what the doctor’s past surgeries looked like. (No word on what procedure her friend had who gave this glowing recommendation… ) Unfortunate for her, this doctor was licensed to practice as a plastic surgeon in California, but was not board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This poor lady woke up to not only what can best be described as a “uniboob” (two merged—you’re fooling no one ever again with weather or not you’ve gone under the knife), but this plastic surgeon also performed an unauthorized nip and tuck on her eyelids that has since left Rodrriguez unable to completely close her eyes.
