Sometimes You Want a Small Government; Sometimes You Don’t

It’s very American of us to want something for nothing. When one says, I want the most bang for my buck, another raises them one and seeks out the most bang that costs them the least amount of buck

Big government, small government—how much do you want them involved? During an election year that’s a big topic, especially concerning taxes. There are always a lot of no new taxes, or lower taxes, and other such slogans tossed around. Sometimes I wonder if while people are pissed at what they wish the government wouldn’t fund with their tax dollars, they’re also mindful of what it does.

As inconvenient as it is, climate change is a truth that has to be dealt with, and Grist.org discusses the matter in their article: Why climate change will make you love big government.
