Ad in London: For Women ONLY!! No Men Allowed.

Fact or Fiction? An ad that uses facial recognition to determine the gender of a person and decide which ad to show them? Fact.

A bus stop with this particular type of ad was created as part of a campaign to improve education options for young women in developing countries. With this technology if you’re a woman you will be shown a 40-second video by the children charity Plan UK, “Because I Am a Girl”. ( Men only see the website link. )

Motivation behind the gender specific ad? Their rep says this:

We’re not giving men the choice to see the full ad so they get a glimpse of what it’s like to have basic choices taken away.

Did you know that every 3 seconds a girl is forced or coerced into marriage?

No girl should be .

Every girl should have the opportunity to complete their education and make choices about their future.
