Oh Great, Now I’m Really Hungry…

Reading about the dieting and body concerns of other women, famous and non, always does one thing for me: make me hungry.

Is that weird?

If that’s so, I’m in good company. Songstress Miranda Lambert is quoted in the current issue of Self Magazine saying,

“Really skinny actresses make me hungry — I see them and think, Honey, you need to eat!”

Allure magazine has Anne Hathaway sharing about what she describes as her Catwoman suit of psychological terror,

“… the suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit … it dominated my year. I went into the gym for ten months and didn’t come out.”

That simply makes me want a smoothie. It doesn’t impress me. it doens’t make me oh and aw at her dedication. Her commentary of detox living on hummus and radishes makes me cringe, momentarily as I munch on toast spread with almond butter. Oh the craft of acting and its ridiculous demands…I demand my Kraft to be on my macaroni.
